【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstheprocedureforcertifyingcontinuousopacitymonitors.Inthemainpartofthispractice,itincludesdesignandperformancespecifications,testprocedures,andqualityassurancerequirementstoensurethatcontinuousopacitymonitorsmeetminimumdesignandcalibrationrequirements,necessaryinpart,foraccurateopacitymonitoringmeasurementsinregulatoryenvironmentalopacitymonitoringapplicationssubjectto10%orhigheropacitystandards.InAnnexA1,additionaloralternativespecificationsareprovidedforcertifyingopacitymonitorsintendedforuseinapplicationswheretheopacitystandardislessthan10%,orwheretheuserexpectstheopacitytobelessthan10%andelectstousethemorerestrictivecriteriainAnnexA1.Inbothcases,theerrorbudgetsfortheopacitymeasurementsaregiveninAppendixX1.1.2Thispracticeappliesspecificallytotheoriginalmanufacturer,ortothoseinvolvedintherepair,remanufacture,orresaleofopacitymonitors.1.3Testproceduresthatspecificallyapplytothevariousequipmentconfigurationsofcomponentequipmentthatcompriseeitheratransmissometer,anopacitymonitor,orcompleteopacitymonitoringsystemaredetailedinthispractice.1.4ThespecificationsandtestprocedurescontainedinthemainpartofthispracticehavebeenadoptedbyreferencebytheUnitedStatesEnvironmentalProtectionAgency(USEPA).Foreachopacitymonitorormonitoringsystemthatthemanufacturerdemonstratesconformancetothispractice,themanufacturermayissueacertificatethatstatesthatopacitymonitorormonitoringsystemconformswithalloftheapplicabledesignandperformancerequirementsof40CFR60,AppendixB,PerformanceSpecification1exceptthoseforwhichtestsarerequiredafterinstallation.
